On Sunday, the congregation of the West Newton United Presbyterian Church will relocate for a second time since April.
A storm on April 16 caused the rear brick wall of the church’s sanctuary to collapse onto the roof of the church’s Christian Education annex below.
No one was hurt in the collapse, but the damage will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to repair, according to the church’s pastor, the Rev. Patrick Sileo.
About 70 members of the church have since been worshipping in the West Newton gym, a situation that has been less than ideal, Sileo said.
Chairs had to be set up before each Sunday service in the gym, which has no air conditioning or handicap access.
Beginning this Sunday, however, the congregation will move to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Sutersville.
“The fact that the building was empty is a mixed blessing,” Sileo said.
St. Charles Borromeo has been vacant since October 2008, when the Greensburg Catholic Diocese decided to close and consolidate 14 churches.

However, by the age of 6 they can produce almost perfectly sentences and talk with amazing accuracy about most aspects that are relevant to their lives, respecting all or almost all the grammar rules of the language! How come?!
The evidence is not conclusive but all of it suggests that language is an innate capacity of human beings which is acquired during a critical period between ages 2-8.
In other words, human beings have an innate predisposition towards language acquisition
This natural way of “picking up the language” without effort or formal systematic studies of any kind is called “first language acquisition.”
In our next article, we will learn about Second Language Acquisition, something essential for language learners to know if they want to acquire a second language effectively.

Boy Scouts marched in a flag-waving ceremony in Washington, D.C., last Sunday as part of their celebration of 100 years of the fine work of the Boy Scouts of America.
The Boy Scout program came to our country from its earlier origin in Britain. It has provided a century of inspirational and motivational character-building for many millions of boys.
The high standards of the Boy Scouts of America are reflected in the Scout Law: “A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean and Reverent.”

As a cell we send our energy out and communicate with the body on many levels: electrically through the nerves, chemically through the blood, sensorially through feelings. Each cell must know the whole picture of the body through this communication on many levels.
Now my vision was that each person is a cell of society. We use the same methods to know the bigger picture. We communicate on many levels and are aware of the whole, whether this awareness comes from a photo taken from the space station of planet earth or just a feeling on a deep level of our heart or soul.
